Fire Fighters
Since 1999, DiMartino Associates has been the consultant for the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters (WSCFF) and has established and managed health benefit Trusts for the fire fighters community in Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, Oregon and other states.
Together, the IAFF Health & Wellness Trust, WSCFF Life & Disability and IAFF Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan (MERP) offer a full set of benefit options to cover current medical needs as well as planning ahead for retirement. Available health plans include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan, all underwritten by reliable carriers with broad networks.
All three Plans are governed by fire fighters from separate participating Locals by election or appointment, so that all plan offerings are specifically tailored for fire fighters and their families. As the consultant to the various Trusts, DiMartino Associates provides guidance in plan design and implementation, compliance with federal and state law, monitoring and management of the Trusts’ experience and finances, and developing strategies for long term sustainability and affordability.
